Active Burst

Every morning, from 8.10am-8.40am we offer our free active session.

Everyday, you can find Mr Taylor - our sports coach apprentice and Miss Oxley - our behaviour mentor - on the playground ready to welcome pupils, parents, carers, siblings and friends of Ravenswood CP School in to participate in a range of sporting activities, including football, basketball, table tennis, bat and ball activities along with using our large outdoor apparatus.

We believe this session gives our participants the opportunity to burn off some energy in readiness for their days learning. It provides a softer start for some pupils who may find transitions difficult. 

There is no need to book, please just turn up.

We also offer our community breakfast in the school hall every day. For 60p per person, you can enjoy breakfast with your family. This can be paid for via the school office/parentmail.
